About Event Horizon @ West Leadership Academy

I am educator living in Denver, Colorado. Most of my adult life I have spent in school studying or teaching. I am an avid reader from books, to articles, to journals, and blogs. My goal is to create a website that would allow my students to access the tools they need to be successful in my science class. We focus on science content but use cross curricular assignments to expand on the breadth of what it means to understand, create, implement the skills necessary to survive in this ever changing technological landscape. Hopefully what they learn will be encapsulated by a nurturing environment revolving around STEM, growth mindset ideology, and cooperative learning.
